She's here at last!

Georgia Claire arrived on September 9 at 4:48 a.m.! My water broke around 2:00 in the afternoon, and we headed to the hospital a few hours later. After a slow start to labor, things finally got moving later that night. The big surprise? Georgia was 10.5 pounds! I had no idea she was that big (I guess my doc didn't either). Delivery went fine though. We're all resting at home now.

Congratulations Judi! She is absolutely beautiful!

My daughter was born way back in December - but out babes have a little something in common...they have the same first name!

How funny! It's such a beautiful name. We weren't sure about it while I was pregnant, but now, she really feels like a Georgia! Thanks for your good wishes.

Congrats, Judi!!! Georgia is beautiful and I love her name!!! 10.5 lbs and 22" -- you did good! My son was 22" but only 9.1 when he was born. You carried a healthy one and obviously took good care of yourself and Georgia while you were pregnant. Have fun with her, as I know you will. Is Max totally smitten with his new baby sister?
